Widescreen (16:9) or Standard (4:3) Format?

Standard 4:3 format is the TV screen that most of us grew up with, just like VHS tape is the video format we were once used to. In the not so distant future, people will no longer want to watch those old DVDs any more than they want to watch old b&w reruns.

Blu-ray hi-definition 1080 video is stunning, breath-taking. This is the kind of video you'll still want to be watching ten, twenty years from now, so why waste your money and your once-in-a-lifetime, precious wedding video on an outdated, dull video format?

If you don't yet have a Blu-ray hi-def video player, don't worry because you'll get four standard widescreen DVDs that will play just fine in any old DVD player, but you'll also get four Blu-ray, hi-definition discs that will amaze your friends and family when you finally get a Blu-ray hi-def video player.

There's another benefit to having your wedding shot with professional hi-definition video cameras - these will look much better even when played on standard DVDs than if shot with a standard (non-hi-def) video camera.

The reason is that standard video cameras have sensors shaped for older TVs (4:3). In order to shoot widescreen (16:9) they must block off the upper and lower portions of those sensors. That means they're shooting in a much lower resolution, on a standard with old VHS tapes instead of even "yesterdays" DVD resolution.

In fact, that was the deciding factor in our move to hi-def. We were embarassed to deliver widescreen video with standard video cameras because of their poor widescreen resolution.

Don't have your wedding video shot with out-dated, standard video cameras and find yourself forever regretting that decision. Put your mind at ease and delight your eyes with stunningly beautiful Blu-ray hi-definition video!
